An epic win needs to occur against a team of some level of quality IMHO. I'd say Providence, Bucknell, St Johns, Cincinnati and Seton Hardly don't qualify as teams of quality. Notre Dame when Novak was playing?
T make the dance, we will need minimum: 11-7 in BEast and at least two more wins from the following: ND, Syracuse, Villanova

Two shots at UConn too, another quality win potential opponent. And of course we'll get a shot at one more if we make the quarterfinals of the conference tourney. There's still chances, but we have to start capitalizing on them soon, If we can win 3 of our next 5 we'll be fine. Anything less and we're in trouble.

Does Marquette try to take out their frustrations against DePaul? Or will the team be looking ahead to a redemption game against ND?  I still expect this team to win, but that loss can do funny things to players' psyche.

So if we go 11-7, beat Cincy, St Johns and UCONN twice we won't go? Get off the crack pipie.

Everyone comes out to whine and bitch after a tough loss, but no one sticks around to pay compliments when we win.

Tough loss?  This was a collapse. Not even close to a tough loss. A Tough loss was losing to Stanford in the closing seconds. The Ville game will go down as one of the biggest chokes in NCAA hoops history. .

Well, he should have included UCONN in his list of good teams, but if we go 11-7, beating (in schedule order) WVU, Rutgers, ND, DePaul, USF, Georgetown, St. Johns, Seton Hall, Providence, Cincy, & Seton Hall I do not think we get into the tournament.  Hell even replacing one of those with a win against one of the top 4 teams listed might not bet enough.

We sure as hell better take out the frustrations on DePaul. If thet come within 10 points, then everybody will need to wake up and smell the stench!
