St. John's just picked up another one.  This time Chicago kid Phil Greene ('11) who is playing down at IMG in FL this year.  Damn it, Lavin.. stop

Good win for us and the Conference.

I believe the Big East is still leading head to head with games against the Big Ten this year.

Big East is 6-2 vs the Big 10. (I think)

To Lenny's point, anyone concerned about what the Big East will be like in 2-3 years?  I don't see a lot of upper echelon programs sliding (other than maye UConn if Calhoun's departure happens) while the lower echelon teams will be getting better:

St. John's will clearly be getting better (though maybe not next year since it will be a young team)
DePaul will definitely be getting better with Purnell
Rutgers will be getting better with Rice as head coach
Willard has proven to be a good coach at Seton Hall
Cincy seems to be on the upswing (though we will see about that in the long-run)

Just scary... I wonder if there might be a day where the Big East SHOULD get 11 teams in the tourney but a few get snubbed due to a non-spoken limit (yes, yes, we know the committee says there is no limit but there seems to be)

No way in hell is SJU going to keep all of those kids happy with their minutes.

Transfers will happen...

Proof that the rankings mean absolutely nothing.
