I have talked with a number of them from back home and most are not concerned with us, but they are terrified about the North Carolina game.

A few of them have been smart in at least stating their concerns with Marquette.  They fear they may not have an answer to Matthews since Nitzel will be busy with James.  We'll see, but I think we get by MSU before getting beat up by UNC.

Thomas' Danish Delight

Those ignorant msu kids won't have to worry about unc, because they won't get past Marquette.

SqueallyDRyan

i checked out an msu message board. most seemed just happy to get in.  a couple actually said they were more worried about playing mu and than unc. many pointed out their regret at having to play crean's team and do not want to have to play against one of their own, which i thought was nice.
It's not the size of your Diener; its how you use it

im a former detroiter. many msu buds have called. they are nervous, not terrified. they all watched a lot of mu games on tv this year, and they know we can play. very physical team they said.

MUgoose, like yourself I am a former Detroiter, GREAT PLACETO BE FROM.  Grew up in the City and unfortunately now it is nothing but a big suburb.  Just read an article that Detroit is poised for a redevelopment but they said the same thing when the Ren Cen was built.

MUCam

It is going to take one heck of a redevelopment to shake off the rust that Detroit has accumulated. First thing the city needs to do, is lose those ridiculous taxes. The younger generations are the key to redevelopment. But, if they can't afford the taxes, then why would they bother moving there?

PS. The city looked great (relatively speaking) for the Superbowl. Nice to see people walking around...and there was only one shooting that I know of... :-\

I am glad we are playing you.  We are better.  You guys lose in the first round.  Drew will put 25 on your weak D.    You will lose and when the best coach in the world leaves us to stop coaching yours will come to the the best B Ball school in the Big Ten.

Will somebody take out the trash?

That was a very insightful post buddy, full of great logic and very articulate.

If McNeal plays Neitzel will be lucky to score 15.
