Big East continues roll - West Virginia upsets #8 Purdue

Continuing to watch the RPI scenarios and the Big East storing more and more chips, continue to believe MU is definitely in if we go 10-8.  Huge win today for the conference, on the heels of
nova rallying to avoid the upset by Maryland, who was top 15 in Pomeroy.

I realize it was #8 @ an unranked opponent, but I'd be hard pressed to call that an upset.  Actually, I'd call it what most people expected - a WVa win. 

Good win, but Purdue isn't a top 10 team.

would conceed you could go with WVU as slight favorite based on home, but Purdue entered the game no. 6 in Pomeroy and 2nd best team in Big 10, while WVU ranked as 5th best team in Big East.

Continuing to add to a pretty good list of impressive Big East wins over Big 10, and pushing Big East further and further ahead of them for top conference RPI.

Most importantly, nice win for a team MU already beat.
