This may have already been answered but how does espn stack up to scout, rivals, etc now with telep over there? I know before espn was considered the worst.

They're all unreliable.

Start from there and take everything you read with a grain of salt.

Espn is still quite mediocre.  I don't think they like to invest too many resources on high school kids.  I don't necessarily agree with that perspective considering they have a monopoly on all other sports so why not continue their superiority in this as well. But whatev, I'm not an ESPN exec.

One thing I will give ESPN, they at least give you a summation of skills of most every player. The amount of information you get for free is pretty incredible, especially as they could easily push off info on any <100 recruits to Insider but don't. If you want a good snapshot of what a player's strengths and weaknesses are, ESPN is probably better for a non-member than either Scout or Rivals. However I'm not sure I agree with their ratings. The comments they give often doesn't seem to match the rating they assign. For ESPN, I'd stick to reading the commentary over simply looking at the player grade.
