So...similar to Cincy, UL has yet to be really challenged except by UK (Sure they beat UNLV, but then lost to Drexel).  Saw their game at USF,  and while they looked ok (MU has had it's own problems at USF), they hardly looked dominant.

Pitino's teams always play hard, but they don't have bigs MU fans are used to seeing, and are vulnerable to getting frustrated by a team scoring on them at will (something MU does well).

One other advantage - they have to play Villanova on Wed and then turn around for our game on Sat.  MU gets the whole week to prepare exclusively for UL.

Not going to be an easy game, but I like the way this one is setting up.

I'm with ya.

Also, the Extra Crispy Dome doesn't seem to have that same atmosphere as Freedom Hall, with the fans right on top of the floor.

One big plus for MU is Ville's top frontcourt player Rakeem Buckles is out. He's basically a clone of Earl Clark. So that helps MU.

We need to use Otule the way we did today and then get them into foul trouble much like we did today to ND. Use Butler, Jae and Chris to rack fouls and let DB and DJO shoot while occaisionally driving for fouls with Vander.

We wont shoot 70% 3s but we will make more 2's I think. If we shoot around our 50% season we should win the game pretty easy with even decent defense.

Not that it has any effect on the game, but Pitino is a bozo, and needs to spend all his time in Italian restaurants.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind.

Agree.

Otule did a great job against ND. If we can get that kind of effort from him every game, it will make everyone better.
The "average fan" is an idiot.
