Awesome article.  This quote of Buzz's should be read by every kid who plays basketball at all levels:

"When Wesley was on the court, was he always the best player? Not necessarily. But could you find a way to take him off the floor? No."

Great article.  I can't get enough of these stories about Wesley.

Favorite quote:

"What did I learn about myself when I was at Marquette?" Matthews asked. "That I'm tough as hell."
Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

Awesome article (although it does make Wes sound like a bit of a hot head...what with the whole throwing drinks and poker chips in Patty Mills' face...haha)

Wes has been a late bloomer relative to his first three years in college, although some blame his being misused by the prior administration.

But had he developed more quickly he probably would've been the focal point of our team.  I wonder how far he could've carried our team in the tourney had that been the case?

Good find.

I also think its hilarious that he speaks in an accent in front of Mills! haha.
The "average fan" is an idiot.

Are you Buzz WIlliams?
No, but Buzz was my influence when crafting that sentence.
