Just looked back at the Buzz's resume over his first 2+ years, and albeit, maybe I am figuring conservatively, I would only say 2-3 wins were unexpected.

Both occurring last year, @UConn and v NOVA in the BE tourney. Maybe you throw in at GTown in 08-09 at the verizon center

But then you look at the games we lost, and wonder will we ever be at an elite level in the Big East.

These tough losses are hard to digest, especially since we have them so frequently.  At some point you have to throw it back to Buzz and his staff since they are always going to be more of a constant than the players.

I can see where you are coming from as an MU fan, but I think we are all a bit biased and hope we can win some games that may be a reach for us.  At least I know I am a bit more optimistic then other people going into a game.

However, clearly the league and talking heads disagree because we have been picked to finish much lower than we actually do under Buzz.  Therefore, I think there have been many games that we won that the talking heads wouldn't have saw coming.

Second, I know being happy about a close loss is not the best mind set, but considering last year and even this year many people thought we would be blown away by opponents (ie, Duke this year and WVU last year).

Don't get me wrong I would love to win more games, especially those that no one sees coming.

So you thought MU would win 23 regular season conference games in the last 2 years? And that all 56 wins over the last 2+ seasons ended with the outcome you predicted? If so, you should stop wasting time on these boards and get on the next flight to Vegas!

I think it's Syracuse at home this year. Just because we have to break that duck sometime.

I suspect some of the posters will be surprised by any wins we might come by the remainder of the season.

I will be surprised if we DON'T win on Saturday.  That is a game that MU must win and SHOULD win.

Huggy will have his team ready after getting spanked at home by the johnnies. I think this one goes either way.
