It would be a lot easier to explain finishing 9th and an 11 seed starting 3 freshmen.

It's also easier to have success while starting freshman when you also have one of the top 5 players in the country on your team.

No question that Lamb has been very impressive and Napier was very solid for being a freshman point guard in the Big East, but if say Walker had got hurt and had to miss numerous games, that's an NIT team. About 75 percent of their offense revolves around Walker scoring or helping get easier shots for his teammates because of all the defensive attention he draws.

That all said, Calhoun has long been a good coach and recruiter. Even if Walker goes pro after the season as i'd expect, they should be a pretty good team next year as the three freshman and Oriakhi have a year playing together under their belts.

All I'm saying is that the game is officiated fairly loosely the entire game, which I believe favors Louisville because they play more loosely and foul and slap and bump quite a bit, and they have more extra guys in case they are in foul trouble.  Not a lot is called the entire second half.  Then, at that point, you change the way you call the game to help a guy who is afraid to rise up and hit a shot.  Marra was not even looking to shoot.  Marra jumped straight sideways to attempt to draw a foul.  Generally, that's when refs don't call the foul.  In this case, they call a foul against Kemba Walker, who, if you watch him play, is a great defensive player and adheres to the principles that do not lead to fouls.  Even though Kemba left his feet, the refs were not required to call a foul against him.  They did.  It was poor judgment.  Agree to disagree.
