one of 5 best in school history? Pretty tall order. Just from memory and in no particular order:
Butch Lee
Dean Meminger
Travis Diener
Dwayne wade
Brian Wardle
Jerel McNeal
Doc Rivers
Wes Mathews
sam Worthen
Tony Smith
Tony Miller
George Thompson
Lloyd Walton
Rob Logterman
and probably others I have missed. Sure, he may be better than some of these, but top 5? C'mon Man!

Who is Dwayne Wade?

Isn't he the son of that all time great Bears QB Billy Wade? Merry Christmas!
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

I have seen all of the mentioned guards play over the years and fully understand the tradition of great guards. I stand by my comment that Blue can be in the top five. Quite honestly most names listed were nice players but after top 5-6 on the list there is major drop off. To me Butch Lee was greatest MU guard (based on college play) and Dwade is most talented.

Dean was special but different era. Loved watching him play and have him after Lee and Wade. To me it is like retiring numbers. People throw great way too easily. I am not saying Blue is great today but he has lots of upside to him.
