Buzz needs to settle down. Reggie Smith has potential, but a freaking starter?? All he did was turn the ball over. Erik Williams barely gets in before he is back out. The guy is never allowed to get into the flow of a game. Start Otule the yank him about 2 mintes in???? Why even bother?

I like Buzz, but something just does not seem right.

WarriorHal

I've been wondering about Reggie Smith too. He doesn't seem ready to contribute much of anything yet...and hasn't. So why is he getting that playing time?

chapman

Agree completely.  Buzz needs to set a rotation, if anything to give players their roles and give the team some sort of identity.  I have no clue who option #1 is, or option #2, no idea who the leader is, no idea who the point guard is, no idea who the sixth man is, no idea why Reggie Smith always starts then sits five minutes after doing absolutely nothing good, no idea what Jae Crowder's role is.  If we need someone who can shoot, why not make that someone's role instead of having everyone pass up upon shots or throwing up bricks to see if some fall in?

warriorfred

I sometimes wonder if Buzz coaches by "feel?"  It does not seem like he has a strategy or plan, so we have a number of odd rotations and players on the court.

GGGG

Erik Williams took Crowder's spot in the rotation when Jae picked up two fouls in the first half.  He was in there a few times down the court, and lost his guy (Leuer) on the defensive end who promptly hit a three.  They then yanked Williams and put in Jones, but ended up going smaller to end the half.

Williams give them nothing right now.

I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

groove

it was almost better when we had less depth. so many subsititions, if you look away it's hard to tell who is on the court. I wonder if some players are having a hard time getting into the flow of the game.

GGGG

We essentially played 7 players.  Williams and Jones only came in because of Crowder's foul problems, and Otule and Smith only started the halves.  We didn't have a bunch of substitutions by any means.  Wisconsin had more players in double didgit minutes than we did.

Williams and Jones had 2 minutes each. Smith had six minutes, no points and 3 turnovers. I guess you can say Smith gave us even less.

Our current rotation is still very consistent with episode #2 of MU Ball Revealed...
