Im guessing maybe Blue gets Taylor.  His height and quickness could give Taylor trouble getting shots.  Not sure what I would do with Leuer.  Do you put Butler on him and chance that Jimmy gets in foul trouble?  Or do you rotate Crowder, otule and Gardner and just pound the daylights out of him?  Or will MU employ a zone from time to time?

You should really play zone against Wisco.  The Swing offense is really about getting shots from the perimeter, so let them have them.
No answer for Leuer against a man D,  he is a nightmare due to his height.  Al would have played a box and two against Wisco, let the
other three players beat you.  Wisco gets the early lead, no way MU can comeback.  Have to turn UW over, and take the ball out of Taylors
hands.  Should be interesting considering the 2 different styles of play, one wants to fastbreak the other never does.  Wisco is hitting they
win.  They do not turn the ball over to much, Bucyks is a turnover ready to happen, I think MU played better without Bucyks.

Butler, Crowder, EWill.     Any one of our guards can guard Taylor.   He is still going to get his, but are guys can stay in front of him.   If we absolutely need a stop, Blue.

the bigger question is who guards Gasser? I'd love to see Blue embarrass him.

Hopefully Vander can pull off one of his signature moves: block a 3 pointer, grab the ball, 2 easy transition points for him or a teammate.

not sure MU has anyone who can guard future lottery pick Gasser...

As I recall last year, Jimmy was in foul trouble, and he was trying to defend Leuer.  I would like to see Crowder on him.  Taylor either dwight or van.  as per posted earlier maybe we will throw some zone at them too.

agree that I'd like Crowder to get a shot to just punch him in the mouth.

I believe Butler started the game on Hughes last year.  A very curious decision that didn't last long.

Fouls are always big.  Last year MU was in  foul trouble early and 2 yrs ago at the BC Wisc had 12 or 13 fouls in the first half IIRC which was a killer.

Wouldn't Otule guard Leuer?  He's the best matchup in terms of size but we'd obviously have to switch up some other guys on him if (when) Otule starts picking up fouls.  Would be really helpful to have Fulce available.

I hear the refs cooked that one up against you guys.   ::)

Who guarded Kyrie Irving?  Did he go off on us?  What problems does Taylor present that Irving didn't?

Taylor is probably slower and more physical.  So Cadougan most likely would not have a problem guarding him.  If Buycks is healthy he will start on Taylor.

Sure, Blue could guard Taylor, but Buycks could not guard Bruisawitz.  I think you would use Blue as a sagging safety off Bruzawitz or Evans or whoever Bo starts at 3.  Jimmy starts on Leuer.  My concern is Otule or Gardner moving around in the flex on d if Nankovil or one of their other bigs gets hot from outside.

DJO plays Gasser and rests on D.

The swing is about spacing, and really allows a team to exploit match-up problems by posting up any position.  UW's outside shooting hasn't been spectacular.  I don't know what you consider a lead, but UW getting a lead early doesn't scare me.  If UW has a lead late in the game, I think they're a hard team to come back on because of their defense, but it works both ways as they struggle to score points quickly because of their relience on the swing.  I don't see a need to take the ball out of Taylor's hands, as the swing does that for us.
