Haven't watched them all play yet...

Having said That, it was tough between Barnes and Irving. I thought Barnes looked really good against UK and slightly more athletic than Irving. So I took Barnes.

Blue? Seriously? I don't think it is even remotely realistic, at this point, to think he could possibly be the best freshman at the end of the year.  I think he'll be a hell of a player during his time at marquette, but to think he would be a lottery pick in the next draft seems a bit far-fetched

I agree with you about Vander Blue I just added him because its a Marquette site. I think Vander Blue has a chance at making the NBA but he will need to play all 4 years here.

I assume Josh Gasser locked this up after his 21pt performance against Prairie View A&M...

Blue shouldn't be included. He still has so much to work on, specifically his outside shot and running jumpers. He has a knack for ball possession and cutting to the rim, but he really hasn't been able to finish outside of 5 feet.

Defensively though he's been superb

Once wasn't enough? ;D

I think it depends with Blue. I certainly don't expect him to be all-world this year, but it wouldn't surprise me if he came out after his sophomore or junior year. He has tremendous athleticism, and if he can develop a reliable jumper and demonstrate a consistent handle, he could be a lottery-type player. He's already a very good defender, which is often hard to get players to come around to, and good at driving to the hoop. There's lots of upside, it just depends how long it takes the other skills to come around.

Really?  The star of that game was Doron Lamb.  Barnes didn't do a lot and has been pretty disappointing so far and UNC is looking pretty inconsistent again.  It's probably Irving at this point, with Sullinger #2.  He was a beast in the Florida game.

No Newbill!?!  ;D
