Sports Nation has a (very unscientific) poll that I found interesting.  MU is picked 3rd as a sleeper to win it all (4.1%).

But the thing that I found interesting is that we are picked over both Duke (3.3%) and UCONN (3.1%).  Most of the time both of these schools get a big boost in these types of polls from people who don't know what they're talking about just because of the recent history of these two teams.

Are unscientific poll voters getting smarter or has MU's recent success bolstered its image to the masses of college basketball fans?
