At least the Scoop downtime coincided with Rosiak's latest online chat

A couple of highlights:

**Rosiak feels that they need Otule to play 15-20 minutes per game.

**Williams will likely only have spot minutes this year because of his defensive liabilities.

**It is entirely possible that Buzz "shot for the moon" with Hood, Faust, et. al. knowing that he had Jamil coming in next year.  And Buzz told him that he might bank the scholies.  (But I don't think he will.)

**Likely starters are Junior, Buycks, DJO, Butler and Fulce, with Crowder and Blue first off the bench.  Likely 8 to 9 man rotation when the season is in full swing.

Don't like that starting line up with Fulce and Bucyks.

Bucyks is a TO machine ala Jerel McNeal without the scoring. Still think Fulce is a role player.

We need a Center in the game so start OTule or Gardner--and Crowder should start before Fulce or Bucyks.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

Buycks is this year's Mo Acker. He's going to surprise you.

HoopsMalone

It's going to come down the upper classmen again like last year.  Fulce and Buycks may have to give what Coobie and Mo gave.

PuertoRicanNightmare

Buycks may have had a lot of turnovers early last year, but his basketball IQ is twice that of our all time leading scorer. I like him a lot.

15-20 mins for Chris would be great; I hope he can stay on the floor.

EWill -- this prognosis is disappointing considering his relative veteran status.

C'mon dude, do you really have to take unneeded shots at Jerel? What did he ever do to you?

Disagree.  Buycks is a huge fan of the MISIB... the Most Inefficient Shot In Basketball (or the long jumper just inside the arc).

Until he cuts that out, Buycks does not qualify as having a high basketball IQ.

For the record (and I am not a big fan of McNeal), his turnover rate his junior and senior years were 19.5% and 17.1%, respectively.  Slightly better than average (20%) and better than average.  McNeal did a decent to good job protecting the ball as an upperclassman.  However, he ALSO was a fan of the MISIB.

Buycks had a turnover rate of 22% last year.

Agreed, Henry.

Buzz' primary offensive goal is to take the first, best available shot.  The guarded/fading/forced 17-19 footer is never that shot.  This leads me to believe that Buycks is at risk of seeing his expected playing time fade unless he improves in this aspect of his game. His shot selection is an opportunity for dramatic improvement, clearly.

Silly statement.
