Great stuff, thanks for transcribing this for us.

Can somebody provide some insight into what Buzz means when he says, "For the first time since I've been here everybody will receive practice gear; I hope that's a good sign, because everybody's completed Boot Camp" and "DJO never received practice gear, so he will wear practice gear for the first time today."

What specifically is he referring to when he says "practice gear" and do the players have to earn it somehow?  If they don't receive practice gear, do they just wear different clothes or something?

Thanks in advance.
Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

No doubt there will be much tooth-gnashing from some following this reply:

"I'm a former JUCO guy, so you can tell by the way we've recruited here in two recruiting classes that I like JUCO kids. I like guys that you don't have to worry about if they have an edge to them; they have an edge to them every day. I like guys that when you give them a t-shirt, they appreciate it. And I like guys that when you feed them either pre-game or post-game that instead of a hot dog or a Happy Meal you actually give them something really good to eat and they say thank you...I like those guys. Because I think those guys will have great success in life. And that's not to say we don't like high-school guys. But we'll always be inflicted with some JUCO guys as long as I'm here because I'm a JUCO guy."

DJO didn't practice pre-season due to being hurt.  They may have different gear for practice in season.  That's how I'd read it.
I'm like a turtle, sometimes I get run over by a semi.
