Mr. Nielsen

A loss of one scholarship for the next two years.
If we are all thinking alike, we're not thinking at all. It's OK to disagree. Just don't be disagreeable.

This should be interesting.    The recruit never came to UConn and the two assistants who were most responsible were fired.   There are no wins to forfeit.   Calhoun is going to have to convince the NCAA he hasn't lost control of his program.

Calhoun may have finally jumped the shark.  One can almost see him becoming a detriment to the UCONN program as opposed to an asset in the very near future, if for no other reason than he needs to retire sometime soon.

I guess we should say: "2 years probation and loss of a scholarship for two years - at least" since those are the SELF IMPOSED penalties by UConn which didn't find that Calhoun had lost control of the program.  If the NCAA disagrees with that decision, it will most likely add to the penalties.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I've heard he's looking for an administrative position in The March of Dimes

It's an outrage if the NCAA accepts those sanctions as legitimate. Not steep enough.
