I take this to mean, that even though he is improved and despite the fact we are undersized, Otule is still going to be a role player on this team.

I think he will always be a role player, meaning deffense and rebounding.  Hopefully he'll learn to put the ball in the bucket a bit, but if he does enough to keep his defender honest there's enough scoring on this team that he doesn't need to become anything more than a solid role player.  I'm not sure it's fair to take Todd's comments to mean Otule is destined to see most of the year from the sidelines.
