Diener is off to Italy.
As most NBA camp rosters are set, and some have already fixed the free agent invitees, I am curious to know if Novak, or any others are invited to/participating in any NBA training camps, even if as an unsigned free agent?
I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

Novak is on twitter now (apperantly) http://twitter.com/stevenovak20
He also has a linked in http://www.linkedin.com/in/stevenovak20
So either this a fake account or Steve is kind of desperate to get another NBA job. You'd think his NBA player profile works as well as LinkedIn http://www.nba.com/playerfile/steve_novak/index.html

TD could have stayed in Milwaukee if he wanted, but he wanted to play (and possibly get paid more).

Per Gery Woelfel....
QuoteAll indications are that Travis Diener could have been the Bucks' third point guard this season if he so desired.
But Diener, a Fond du Lac native who went on to star at Marquette University, wanted to play extensive minutes and, with Brandon Jennings and Keyon Dooling firmly entrenched as the Bucks' Nos. 1 and 2 point guards, that wasn't likely to happen.
So Diener, who played in only 11 games last season with Indiana and Portland, opted to sign with Dinamo Sassari, which is located on the island of Sardinia, an autonomous region of Italy.
When Diener opted to play overseas, the Bucks signed veteran Earl Boykins

I ran in to Novak last night in front of Jimmy Johns on 16th and Wells.  I talked to him for awhile and he seemed like a really nice guy.  He said he was hoping to get signed by someone and that Chicago was taking an interest in him.  I dont know how serious Chicago is though.

Novak never played for Utah, so they probably don't have a strong interest in him.

Diener's father in law, Phil, is from Italy. I'm not sure what part, though. and if this would put TD near his extended family.

If you work in the Loop and want a great hair cut, go see him and his crew. http://www.yelp.com/biz/philip-d-ciminna-barber-shop-chicago-2

PS: I'd rather be the 3rd guard on an NBA team than a superstar overseas, but that's just me. TD knows what's best for him way better than me.

I talked to Novak yesterday afternoon outside of the Al and he did confirm that the Bulls were showing "serious interest" in signing him along with one other team that he would not specify. The Bulls already have a Novak-type player in Kyle Korver who they signed this off-season. The Bulls also have a pretty deep roster this upcoming season, but it would be awesome if the Bulls took a chance on Novak.

I doubt Diener would even be a third guard on an NBA team.

I'm pretty sure Phil is a Sicilian.  He has been cutting my hair for a long time.  How long?  I remember when he had pictures of his baby girl on the wall...then she was in grade school...then high school...then a MU cheerleader!  I said, Phil, what the heck, you never told me your daughter is going to MU.  He is an excellent barber but a better person.  I would always offer him up some MU tickets and he would politely refuse and thank me, telling me that he preferred to sit in the student section.
