Im surprised Buzz didn't want to add him to his stable of 6'7" swingmen.

at 180, he must be destined for point forward

I'm sure he won't be 180 for long.  I am 6'6, and I played in high school at 190, by my sophmore year in college I was playing at 220.

He honestly looks like he's 12-years-old. Another arbitrary commitment from a middle-schooler.

wow. ND offered him.

According to Scout, the conferences that did and the # of schools from the conference:

ACC - 2
Big East - 1
Big Ten - 3
Horizon - 2
Pacific 10 - 2
Western Athletic - 1
SS Marquette

There is a connection there.

His high school coach is Kurt Soderburg....brother of Brad Soderburg, Dick Bennett's long time assistant who coached at UW for one year at at SLU prior to Majerus.

Interesting that there was no interest from UW or MU as has been stated - and that Scout has him as a 4-star player..and basically a Top 80 player overall.  After all we are recruiting other players at the same position as he - and if we land 4-star talent, we are usually pretty pleased.  From everything I've seen/remembered usually the top High School kid in WI is pursued by both MU and UW, (exception Maymon), or at least 1 of the 2 schools, right?

Anyone seen this kid play live?  Thoughts?
"I'm not sure Cadougan would fix the problems on this team. I'm not even convinced he would be better for this team than DeWil is."

I haven't seen him play, but if he scored 37 of his team's 47 points in one game, it's safe to say that he's his teams only real player.  Furthermore, Merrill isn't exactly a hot bed of basketball talent.
