This recruit is a 6'6" 225 lb PF from Minneapolis who is in JC at Howard College, Jae Crowder's alma mater.  ESPN has him rated a 91.  Maybe this is a name we'll be hearing about later......   maybe not....  Just thought I'd toss this one out there.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

BTW, we are still being mentioned with Keith DeWitt, a 6'10" 220 lb PF from Chipola JC in Florida.  ESPN has Keith rated at 89, but we're battling some tough schools for him; Missouri, Florida State, Cincinnati, and West Virginia.

What about that JUCO 7 footer that's a Valpo Decommit? Forget his name. I know there was a thread about him a while back. One more big man would be great to go with Otule and Gardner. Anyone heard anything about this guy lately?
Warrior in the class of 2011.

GGGG

The decommit from Valpo is Moussa Gueye.

As deep as this team is at every position, 2011 is the year to take a 7' project.    Let him redshirt and be two years behind Gardner.

It's Emory (vs. Emery).  We've already heard about the name... was at several Twin Cities high schools, had a productive year at Howard on the nat'l championship team... one of their assistant coaches used to coach in the Twin Cities and in total Howard had I believe 3 Minneapolis kids last year...

He's back in the Twin Cities for the summer, playing in the Howard Pulley / June Miller summer league - I've also seen him filling in on some other teams, including a game between 43 Hoops (Chris Carr's organization... Ross Travis! is a nice looking player) and the MN Pump and Run, where he played for PnR because some of their studs were off on visits (i.e., Shelby Moats, Kyle Noreen, etc..)...

About 6'6", he is VERY athletic.  A treat to watch at times.

BTW - this afternoon I went to a game between Indiana Elite (Cody Zeller, Plumlee, Etherington, Ferrell, etc.) and the Arkansas Wings (Ky Madden!!, Hunter Michelson, David Rivers, etc.. ).. . Arkansas actually took it... really like Madden... anyway, Tanned Tommi was in the building and says hi to everyone at the 'Scoop

Moussa Gueye is a 2011 Juco which would mean, if he redshirted he would be in the same class as Gardner or if he did not he would be in the same class as Otule.  If we go Juco they would be in the same class as Jr (strictly 1), EW, (3-4), and Otule (strictly a 5).  I would prefer a 2-4 if it was a Juco, no reason to have 2 true center's or 2 true point guards in the same class.

Any Chance we give a look to Jamil's Racine Horlick Teammate Anton Oliver? He went to Iowa State for a year and then asked for his release when his coach got the axe. I heard rumors of him going JUCO for a year then trying to latch on to another team. He plays the 2 or 3 I think.

Agreed. The last thing this roster needs is another 6'6 forward like Emory. Give me someone 6'8+ who can step in relatively soon at PF, and then get somebody with true center size and upside that we can take our time developing.

Thanks Jay Bee this is the first info. I've heard about him.  Hopefully, the multiple HS's isn't a sign of problems.
