From the espn.com bullets:

"Trail Blazers director of NBA scouting Mike Born tells Benjamin Golliver of BlazersEdge about Wesley Matthews: "He has a chance to be a really good defender. You look at how he played in college and how he played this last year in Utah, we think he can be a really good defensive piece. Offensively, he's pretty solid there too. He averaged about 9 points during the regular season and then during the playoffs he was about 12.5 or 13 points total over the two series against Denver and the Lakers. I think he's just got a chance to be a piece to help us win a championship and ultimately that's why we decided to get after him. ... We do a lot of work on the guys that we're working out for the draft, free agency. We do intel work on those guys -- Andre Miller, Marcus Camby -- he's going to be a terrific fit for us. He's everything we're about. He's a great kid, a great worker, a great teammate. Really well liked. Obviously for him playing for the two coaches he's played for -- at Marquette and then playing for Coach Sloan -- that says a lot about him as a player and as a person. We think he's got a chance to be a really good player for  and to be a really good fit for our culture. I think people will really like him as a person as well."

Which coach at Marquette was Mike Born talking about?  Buzz or Crean?   Or, is Born saying, "the two coaches he's played for at Marquette, and then playing for Coach Sloan"?  Crediting both Buzz and Crean?

Coach 1 = Buzz
Coach 2 = Sloan

The dashes were placed appropriately.

Our current nickname sucks

Also, the hiring process was flawed

And DJ Newbill wasn't treated right because of his lesbian agenda

Don't you think Buzz's skin is too white - it"s not healthy!

Skatastrophy

Chicos pushes an agenda for something or other and I'm going to fight with him about it in every thread posted.

Tim Maymon has yet to deny that he raped and murdered a 16 year old golden retriever in Sun Prarie on July 15, 1974.

When are we going to get an on-campus arena??? Xavier has one!

I was also thinking we should form an all-Catholic league and get a D1 football team.

Thoughts?

bilsu

It says the two coaches he played for at MU and then Sloan. he is talking about three coaches.

Hey let's get Joanie and Riley into the mix along with the dude who had the right thought of tossing the orchids at Crean's coconut.

Agreed.  Cracked me up.

Don't forget that we need to recruit centers first.  Why wouldn't a big guy want to come to Marquette?
