Don't worry, Lazar's getting drafted.  He is flying up the mock drafts right now.  This guy even has him in the first round.  Wouldn't that make for a fun draft night in Buffalo.

If he goes in the first round, neverless #24, it would be a fun night anywhere.  Lets hope for the best for Lazar.

Hard to see Zar in the 1st round.  Man, we are going to miss this guy.

i've actually moved on from hoping he's drafted to hoping that he lands in a good position.  i admit that ive been wrong predicting gloom and doom for him at the draft.

as for those mocks, hard to say what the Knicks would look like, so i guess that would be a fine spot for him.  (its going to be an entirely new team next year)  the hawks have a lot of talent, but not a lot of guys like Lazar, so that would be another good landing spot.  finally though, can't see the Pacers picking Lazar.  adding him seems like a lot of glue for not a lot of pieces to hold together, even in the second round.

Another bonus to Lazar's game going from college to the NBA: He won't get whistled for traveling on his first step to the rim any more.

When he gets drafted, what is the over/under on how soon will be see a back-slapping tweet?

If I recall, Lazar still has to present on an NBA roster come opening night. ::)

Bleacher Report is horrible. There are some good articles but 99% of the articles are written by guys like us without much more credibility. I mean this author has great credibility when it comes to the nba draft...

4everwarriors - didn't see your original bet, but as I noted in an earlier post, every Marquette player in history that has gone in the first two rounds (which is now all we have of course) has made the roster, so hopefully the new reviews are an accurate reflection of the NBAs feelings, and history holds true :-)  Also, if that is your bet, it could cut both ways (see Wes Matthews last year)

I know even the doubters on this page are all rooting for Lazar, so I don't see the need for any told-you-so - I'm sure everyone who ever posts is excited as me that Lazar's name is called, and just hoping not to be crushed again like last year :-)  I'm glad i have an excuse to put the Lazar jersey on against Thursday night - even though i will get lots of grief from my teen-agers.
The www.valueaddsports.com analysis of basketball, football and baseball players are intended to neither be too hot or too cold - hundreds immerse themselves in studies of stats not of interest to broader fan bases (too hot), while others still insist on pure observation (too cold).

Hey, just to set the record straight I'd be thrilled to pay off Chicos on this wager.

Less than 60 minutes.

Pretty good chance it will reference how raw he was coming out of ND Prep.

If this makes sense...

Damon is my favorite player to ever play at MU
Lazar is my favorite person to ever play at MU
