I have grown very tired of Boston sports over the past decade, and I can't deal with another title.  Call it title envy, call it over exposure, whatever I don't care.

Living in this town and dealing with the Laker fans (completely insufferable lot), plus having to cheer for a rapist....I will never cheer for the Lakers again until he's off the team.  Hell, I haven't been remotely interested in the NBA in a decade, having watched only one game this entire season.  But, I hope the Celtics can win, just to notch another title under their belt (10 of them coming against the Lakers)....I just won't be watching.  I'll know who won by how much damage the Laker douchebag fans do to the city.  Is it a major burning and riot or just a minor burning and riot.

Wow that's quite a jump to conclusion, i think you should look into the details of that whole case a little more.  That girl's story definitely has some reason for questioning.

Right.      This is why Kobe apologized, bought a $3 million "I'm sorry I'm such a douche" ring for his wife, and paid the girl millions of dollars....because he was innocent and the girl was the problem.

She was being treated for schizophrenia, had previously tried to kill herself twice by overdosing on pills, and her underwear contained semen and pubes from another dude when she showed up for her rape exam.  So I would say there are a couple reasons to at least suspect she may have been the problem.

He said, she said.  She passed her lie detector test.  The hospital officials did a rape test kit on her and found vaginal trauma, etc. (I know, insert Kobe's got a huge johnson yuk yuk comment here).

End of the day, he wrote her a big fat check, he wrote his wife a big fat check, and those choir boy NBA athletes were unfairly sullied in the process

According to the police affidavit, he just wanted to do a little, ahem, glazing anyway.  He didn't even have to go to the stuff shot.
