I have always been quite optimistic about where MU will finish...who they can beat...who they can lose to, etc. And I was VERY consistent in those 'predictions' (if you will) this year. I refused to believe that MU would not make the tourney this year...we made it. I consistently said that MU will give teams a run for their money in games people think we will have no business being in...see WVU/Nova. I consistently said that MU will play down to their competition and possibly lose to teams they shouldnt lose to...see Depaul (ok, not as proud about this one).

Nonetheless...I have basically talked myself into believing that MU should be in the tourney every single year for at least the next 4 years based on who we have now and others who may come to MU or are at least 'interested'.

I'd like to think I'm not being too much of a 'homer'...

Are there other MUScoopers that feel the same way? And for what reason(s)? Perhaps there are those who dont...? How come?
The "average fan" is an idiot.

Personal attacks from Lenny and Ners accusing APieperFan of his agenda to set Buzz up to to fail will begin in 3. . 2. . .

haha....ok...i just re-read that first paragraph; much deserved.

Buzz has talked about/shown/proven his new standards...being as good off the court as your are on it...family first...being a good person...etc...but has he not also set the standard that we should now "expect" to be in the Tourney every year?
The "average fan" is an idiot.
