"Dwyane Wade just proved he is the best player.....to ever come out of Marquette (laughs) but just barely."

Just saw it on TNT postgame. Kudos to TNT for having the Rivers quote first and having "DOC RIVERS - MARQUETTE CLASS OF 1983" as a tagline, then cutting to Wade with "DWYANE WADE - ATTENDED MARQUETTE 2001-2003" for his tagline

And he really should have been class of 84. He left in 83, but started (with me) in fall of 80.

Techincally, Wade attended Marquette from 2000 to 2003.  He played basketball 2001-2003.  I don't get upset in the slightest about stuff like that.

Still nice to hear Marquette mentioned a few times.  Couple that with Matthews having a very nice game last night for the Jazz, and Marquette was prominent in the NBA yesterday.
