So who will they play?

The post-graduate program at St. John's will not be a member of the WIAA and will compete against other post-graduate programs throughout the United States.

Maybe someone here remembers. In the late Mcguire years/Raymonds period, one or two players from NY area left home and MU supporters became their legal guardians, with their tuition to St John's in delafield paid for by the alum. Politely referred to as stashing the recruit-- by coincidence he'd commit for college to MU. I cant remember the player/players-- it was late 70's
I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

4everwarriors

You talkin' about the original DJ, Dwayne Johnson, who hit a buzzer beater in the Tourney to send Missouri home when Raymonds was the coach?

Yes that is one of them....the other was a kid(gaurd) who did the same thing then de committed to MU-- an uproar then but we could do nothing on it, b/c the "understanding"of going to MU after st johns wasnt papered, nor enforceable .
Does Mills sound right-- I cant remember the name

The Missouri game was not during the tournament it was regular season.  I am blanking on the names of the other kids but one went to Cinci maybe Eddie Lee and one went to Florida.

I named my first dog after DJ after Dwayne Johnson which was a real problem whenever I cursed **** Dj the dog thought I was yelling at him, I learned my lesson.

4everwarriors

The Gator cat was Ronnie Williams who actually had a more productive career than Johnson.

Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Va.; Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nev., Huntington Prep in Huntington, WV, The Patterson School in Lenoir, N.C.; guys like that.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.
