I know its ESPN, and its usually not reliable but after viewing other boards it seems as if this kid is similar to Hayward but more physical and doesn't have outside game. He's 6'-6" 230lbs, pretty big guy.

It sounds as if he was blown away by Duke, go figure but I don't think Duke will offer him..especially if Singler stays for next year. He doesn't have the height but he seems like a tough worker. The other boards (USF, Duke, etc.)  question his academics.

I realize that a lot of names are being thrown out there but this seems like a typical Marquette get, slightly undersized, underrated and tough as nails. Anybody have any further information?

Sounds a lot like Crowder. Even though Crowder only has 2 years, and it would be nice to have someone step into his role once he leaves, Hayward only really developed because he got significant playing time all 4 years.

Dawson Rental

He's currently at a prep school in Virginia, so maybe he's getting his academics in order.  During the fall, some posters were wondering what had happened to him.  Evidently, MU was mentioned with him when he played at Hales Franciscan HS (?).  Now everyone is waiting on an SAT score to see if he will be eligible.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Can't be any worse than Michael Haynes, DE, Chicago.

Hopefully he has a better career than the Bears version:
He was selected with the 14th overall pick of the 2003 NFL Draft out of Penn State University by the Chicago Bears. Haynes was the first player selected by the Bears with their two first round draft picks in 2003. The Bears used their second first round pick, 22nd overall of the 2003 NFL Draft, to select quarterback Rex Grossman. Haynes was released from the Bears in 2006 roster cutdown. He was signed by the New Orleans Saints and was declared inactive for one game before being released. On March 22nd, 2007, Haynes signed with the New York Jets. On September 1, 2007 the Jets cut him.
