for the NCAA game alcohol policy at the BC? I am a basketball junkie, but 8 hours of watching basketball is tough without a drink. No, I do not think I have a problem.

Sadly, the barnoculars have been around for quite some time.  An astute usher will wonder why someone is bringing binoculars to the BC.

The booze belly is relatively unknown and very easy to hide.  It certainly is an improvement on the Ziploc bag and duct tape technique (or fake colostomy bag).

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Just curious...why?  I bring them to Wild, Timberwolves, White Sox and Gopher games all the time.  Nobody even gives me a second look.

Let's put it this way, why would someone sitting 20 rows off the floor (about 75 feet from the action) need a pair of binoculars?  Baseball and football games are a different story because you could be 400-450 feet from the action depending on where you sit - binoculars are more common.

Ushers are trained to be on the outlook for suspicious people, items, activity, etc., especially at prominent events such as tourney games.  Even so, I saw an usher who had to be in his 80's take away some guy's barnoculars at Miller Park last year.  Some of these guys have been around for quite a while, and they're not all as dumb as you'd think.

Never insinuated they were dumb at all....just saying I have had them for years and never had a problem at probably over 400 sporting events, good seats and bad....I agree with your point on the tourney games.
