Kind of self explanatory, but if SH wins, are they in? If so does that bump notre dame?  If ND wins, I think they are pretty squarely in and SH is out.  Can they both make it?

Notre Dame is in regardless.  They've made a nice run and beat some quality teams the last few weeks of conference play.

For Seton Hall, I wouldn't say that this game is a "play in".  They need to beat Notre Dame and follow that up with at least one more W to be a serious contender for the NCAA.

Windyplayer

If the roles we're reversed, I would say that SHU would be in big trouble if they lost this game. However, Notre Dame has star power and can probably sustain another loss to a team in the mid-fifty RPI team. Completely unfair, but that's the way it is.

Even if Seton Hall wins this game, I think they have to win one more. Though, there's been this rumor swirling around that the bubble is soft so they could squeeze in with a win over ND.

Coleman

Where did you hear the bubble is soft?????????

Benny B

I don't know if I agree with SHU needing two more.  While they may lack the signature wins that other bubble teams have, they have not lost to a team higher than #66 RPI.  That says something, and if they can beat the I-rush tonight, regardless of how they do against Pitt, I would think they have a strong case.  Look at the competition on the bubble... very, er... soft.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Nukem2

I think SHU will be in.  ND is already in.

PGsHeroes32

Some are saying its a Play in game but i think that just means winner is in. I still like ND chances to get in with a loss. SH will not get in with a loss that is a fact.
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

Bling

For Seton Hall for sure; ND was in before the season even started.

The way all the bubble teams have been losing, and none of the other conference regular season champs have been upset in their tourneys...I think Seton Hall gets in with a win over Notre Dame, as the last team in...Big East is better than SEC..and there aren't too many Bubble teams at this point in the ACC or Big 12...If Illinois loses to Wisconsin..further helps Seton Hall
"I'm not sure Cadougan would fix the problems on this team. I'm not even convinced he would be better for this team than DeWil is."

That would be 9 from the big east, correct?
