After all the close games this season who does everyone think should take the final shot in the closing seconds?  Obviously with tourney season coming up we will be facing more 1, 2, 3 point games.

I think it has to be Jimmy because he has proven he can do it twice now (UConn, St. John's).  The St. John's game may have been more luck than skill, but I think he has got to be the go to guy in the final seconds.  He has experience and versatility plus teams are less likely to focus on him in the closing seconds.

The next choice I think would have to be DJO because he has the best shot fake to get his guy in the air and get around him for an easy shot.  I don't know if it is just me, but it looks like in the final seconds a lot of team's deny DJO the ball because they know his ability shooting the rock.

I didn't choose Lazar because I feel like every team is going to key on him because he is our go to guy.  It would be harder for him to get us the best possible shot.

Give me DJO's stroke at the end of the game.  Wasn't he the target to take the shot in the UCONN and UC games at the end?

Depends on matchups.  All those being equal, I'd take Butler since he's shown he can hit them, but really have no problems with just about anyone we put out there taking it.

I want Lazar, hes the team leader, hes the senior, hes the leading scorer. Hes the one who wants it. Give it to him.
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

To me it looks like DJO is always our target at the end of a game, but it appears we are being too predictable and teams pick up on this quickly.

It looks like the thought is to give Jimmy the ball and let him penetrate with the option to kick or finish.  It makes sense to me because teams cannot help off any of the other players, Jimmy is great at getting to the rim, he's strong with the ball (won't turn it over) and can shoot free throws.  Give him the ball, spread it out and see what he's able to create for himself or his team.

no doubt for me its jimmy. not just because hes hit the clutch ones, but because hes our best bet to create, shoot, or pass with the game on the line.

The best part of this is just that, it could be any of 3 or 4 players.  Gotta love having to defend against that.

I'd probably go to Jimmy after what I saw against Uconn and St. John's.  He is clutch.
