The Lens

It was my Gold 1996-97 Deane's List T-shirt from the MU-Louisville Game '97 (we won b/c all Mike Deane did was win big games).  It was the precursor to the Gold T-shirt.  Chicos was involved in the roll out.  We gave out 300 at the annex.  Vitale was supposed to show up but ESPN subbed him out after MU's Maine Loss (makes DePaul look like UNC).

How pissed would Tom Crean be if he knew I wore a Mike Deane shirt to a big game?  In "TC land" there were no big games between 1977 and 2002.  He might only count all the NCAA success of Doc Rivers.

I bought a gold hoodie MU sweatshirt that arrived today, it had that stupid eagle on the bottom of it but that was ok.  I did my best from 2000 miles away.  Wish our fans in the building would have done the same.

after the cool 'robo-call' I got from Dwight Buycks I even called a couple of friends that seldom wear gold and insisted that they do so tonight.  as a bunch of 'old timer', long time season ticket holder, alumni we were on our feet a ton, wearing gold, yelling ourselves hoarse.  the refs didn't listen..., we lost anyhow!

How many of the "Gold Outs" were on days with free shirts?  Not so many giveaways anymore.  Anyhow,  how about another good freebie?  A GOLD shirt with MU legends would make my weekly rotation of shirts.

What the hell is our fans problem with understanding what a gold out means...pathetic

Why do we seem to be the only school who cannot do it successfully?
