They just were not going in tonight. Pitt did a great job defending tonight.

When you have no big game and can't cause turnovers, you better hit the 3.  When that doesn't happen, it can be a long game.  It certainly was that tonight.  Just an ugly, poorly played game by MU.

Yep, terrible shooting all around and just a horrendous game by Zar. Disappointing but it's not like we lost to a bad team. And Pitt's 6'10"/250 and 6'9"/240 guys killed us.

Defensive breakdowns by Butler didn't help either.  He could only play D for 31 seconds tonight.

Danny Noonan

Lazar needed to pass the ball out of the post when he was double and triple teamed, which would have set up some better looks at the 3-ball for us. As a whole, MU did not move the ball enough to get an open look at the 3 and failed to spread the floor when they wanted to take Pitt of the dribble to go to the hoop or kick it out for a 3. Give credit to Pitt's defense as their execution and rebounding won them the game-although the self destruction on MU's last 5 possessions was unbearable to watch.

Let's get a must win against the Bearcats!
