Great efforts from these guys all year! Amazing that Acker has never committed a TO against Providence in his career.  Cubi hit some major baskets to turn the game in our favor.  They have been critical components to our success.
You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

How are we gonna replace those guys next year?

It's nice seeing David getting some baskets by penetrating to the rim and for the most part he isn't forcing much either. I think he's playing quicker and faster at this time of the year than any other time in his career at MU.

Agreed, and not to be overlooked is his defense.  He has really taken on the challenge to guard the other teams premier guard, and maybe with the exception of the UCONN game - he's player very good D.  Combine that with his improved perimeter shooting, and occasional drive to create the famous "paint touch," and I think this is why we aren't seeing Junior Cadougan rushed back..granted JC is more of a 1 and Cooby plays the 2..
"I'm not sure Cadougan would fix the problems on this team. I'm not even convinced he would be better for this team than DeWil is."

I know you're being facetious....we will certainly have more "talent" at guard next year, but it's always good to have senior guards.

Look at UNC right now without good guard play....likely NIT bound.

When we average 3+ more turnovers next year remember Acker and Cubillan.  Yes they have limitations, especially on defense, but are the new players replacing those two going to be that much better defensively as freshmen?  My guess is not.  Hopefully Buycks and DJO will be much better defensively next year so they can pick up the slack.

Have to agree 100%.  I have no doubt their replacements will be better as seniors, perhaps even as sophomores, but as Frosh, I expect to bang my head against the wall several times next year.
