Which result helps MU more?  A Cincy win? or ND?

Badgerhater920

I don't think it matters all that much, but I think we'd prefer a Cincy victory - ND isn't even considered a bubble team by Lunardi right now, and we'd like to keep that bubble from growing.

We have to beat ND either way (whether it is a quality W at that point or not). If Cincy keeps winning, that could turn into either a marquee road win for us, or a road loss that doesn't hurt us too much.

purely from the current standings perspective, cincy losing would be better for us since it will drop them into a tie with us rather than being a game ahead.  unfortunately that also raises ND into a tie with us rather than being a game behind.  ND winning lets us control our own destiny a bit better too.

Good call...didn't really consider the BE standings in my post.

Wouldn't you rather the team not on the bubble win instead of the team we are fighting to get in?

changed my last sentence.. shoulda said ND winning lets us control our destiny better, not cincy winning.

EDIT: because some people are easily confused by an errant apostrophe.

Thanks.

And really I was just trying to give you a hard time since you made a point of making the original edit.

MU B2002

maybe i missed something, but is stevenson hurt?  I checked the box score and it said he had zero min and was 0-2 from the floor.  I thought he was their "guy."  maybe i am just paying to much attention to MU and missed something.
