That was unbelievably bad. They watched the replay and STILL got the call wrong. It's as if they decided we've in Morgantown, give it to 'em.

I'm actually glad L-ville lost.. makes it a little easier for us to catch up and pass them.. having them weaker will help us in the first round BE tourney bye race and in any bubble comparisons the NCAA tourney.  WVU is looking a bit uncatchable right now.

Exactly. Any loss for UL, UC, SH, and even to a point UConn is good for MU. Those will be the teams MU will be fighting for 1 or 2 spots. And ND goes without saying ;)

I almost feel for them...two complete jobs on out of bounds plays in the final seconds.

Execpt then I'm reminded of the following, and then I don't feel so bad:

Reece Gaines
99-52 with a full court press for 40 minutes
Francisco Garcia
Jerry Smith
Rick Pitino in an italian restaurant
The General has taken on a new command.

I hate Pitino, so any time UL loses, it's a good day.

Must have been a classic conversation between Slick Rick and Huggy after the game.
Rick: "Hey, Bob, know where I can get laid around here?"
Huggy: "Yeah, I'll introduce you to my bartender's sister."

My preview of our trip to Morgantown noted their history of phantom fouls.  However, Lville blew a huge lead, and this is great news for us, so I'm not going to cry about it.  Very unlikely we catch WVU, but a very good chance we could be even with Lville in the final standings.
The www.valueaddsports.com analysis of basketball, football and baseball players are intended to neither be too hot or too cold - hundreds immerse themselves in studies of stats not of interest to broader fan bases (too hot), while others still insist on pure observation (too cold).

A professional colleague of mine and third generation Louisville alum with a finger on the pulse of the fan base down there tells me that they are disgusted with the team's performance this year. The consensus seems to be that Slick Rick is no longer capable of coaching that team with all the "distractions" off the court.
