In his high school's offense, he played guard even after reaching his current height, but there wasn't a growth spurt.  He was 6'4 as a freshman, 6'6 when we started recruiting him as a sophomore, and 6'7 as junior and senior.

You may be thinking of Otule, because there were incorrect reports that he grew nearly 8 inches in little over a year during high school turning him from a guard into a center.  Chris disputes those rumors, saying he grew about two inches a year every year he was in high school.
