.... we still have not established if we can win a close game.

At least the almost 20 point lead didn't come down to FTs or last second shots!  ;D

Boy, that's bleak. Plus, I thought we established that with the win over Georgetown.

What the heck are you talking about, complaining about a good win?  Can't we just enjoy it without nonsense analysis?

Yeah - in the Providence game and tonight's game we should have let them vut deeply into our lead so that the game was close and then try to pull our a squeaker....just to show....we can.

Is Rutgers a "good win"?

winter423

it is not a good win but rather a game we needed to win

chapman

This game is the lesson for all the other close games: get up by 20 and they can hit 6 lucky three pointers in the final minute and you'll still win.  Take advantage of every possession and don't allow any easy points and make those 1-3 point leads 5-7 instead, then they're that much harder to choke away. So does that mean our crap smokings of Providence and Rutgers "gave back" the tight losses to Villanova?

What is this "give back" crap? Why do people have to link every single unnatural carnal knowledgeing game like it's a god damn conga line? We get this but give up this? We need this but lose this? We want this but settle for this?

Take it for what it is: MU is very good in the Bradley and looking at the upcoming schedule we should win the remaining five games on our plate. That's eight conference wins. Sneak out three more and we're in the NCAA Tournament.

That's all we needed to learn last night.

I don't think a game like last nights requires much analysis. We won, we were supposed to win, everyone chipped in, end of story.

Considering it was Rutgers, it's a "good problem".

If it had been a close game and we'd pulled it out, that would have been a "very bad goodness".

Does every silver lining have to have a cloud?   ;)
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

Are you kidding? I certainly would not want Rutgers to be a close game for us.
