Probably going to catch a lot of flack for this post tonight. but I think the simple fact that we were even talking about the NCAA Tournament before tonights game should earn him a pass on this.  I personally was pretty close to writing the season off when I found out Cadougan was out and even more when we lost Otule and Maymon.  I think Buzz has done an outstanding job and should STILL be commended for it IMHO.

+1  Great post from a new poster.  Welcome and keep bringing your level-headedness here..it is needed.  That said, my motto for this team is "How to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory."  Beyond not being able to hit free throws...other teams are just hitting INSANE shots at the end of the game.  BAD LUCK, CURSED, whatever you want to call it..

I'm surprised we aren't getting blown out every game with Mo Acker and Cubby getting as many minutes as they are and NO BIG MAN.


Losing to Depaul ain't good but this roster obviously isn't filled the way Buzz wants, the real measurements of Buzz start next year, imo.

Every team is going to have some down games. The really good teams pull those games out. We do the opposite. Hopefully the young guys learn and it helps down the road. Sucks for Lazar to go through this.
