We will finally get to see more of these guys.  I am more excited about Mbao's upside than Maymon.  Maybe Maymon did not want to show us his talent?  Maybe he was injured? Maybe he is the second coming of Ron Artest?  Oh well....

You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

Daniel

With game experience under his belt, Erik will be getting better and better; same for Mbao.  They have work to do on both ends of the floor, but I feel good about them.  They aren't quitters - they will fight hard, work hard.  Looking forward to it

Another thread ruined by an awful Haiku...

Ewill and Mbao will have good experience for next season to start making strong impacts and be accountable players.
If you think about it, maymon leaving could be a blessing. Next year our team will be more well rounded and experienced when we have less senior leadership.
This loss will be a major addition for next season.

Don't be so sure.  I just heard Mbao's dad is flying in from Senegal to demand that the offense be run through Yous!   :o

Use the ignore button. That's what I'm doing. Of course, when someoen quotes it, it kinda defeats the purpose.

Maybe for a half a day, going on three now and its obvious that it has lost the course.

I am impressed by warthog-driver.  He topped 20 people ignoring him faster than MR. HAYWARD did  :-\

Couldn't have said it any better...perfect.
It's not about ME,
It's about US.

I'm excited to see EWill more. Both him and Yous look a little awkward now, but they're freshmen with seemingly tons of upside. EWill definitely has the hops and stroke. I also like to see that both are excited when they get into games, and show emotion when they make a play. Maymon never seemed to be into it, but I thought it was him being more focused than upset.

One thing about Mbao that I don't get, and maybe it's the coaching, is why he defends the opposing 5 almost beyond the top of the key. The dude could easily sag to the free throw line and be able to provide help D and swat any mediocre drives to the hoop. He's picked up some dumb fouls up top when it seems like he shouldn't even be up that far in the first place.

I agree FP Warrior. My guess is he's still learning...

if he can become 75% of what Ousmane was, i think i'll be happy.

I believe he was up there to disrupt the passing lanes?

Actually, he's trying to increase his number of deflections.
