Seeing the list hits home on how much better baseball movies have been than b-ball films.  I can name five great baseball films with no problem, but much harder to list even decent b-ball films.

Too bad they didn't go back more than 25 years... "One on One" with Robby Benson has to be my favroite b-ball movie of all time.

Hoop Dreams is phenomenal, but Hoosiers is one of the all timers.

I had to look it up, can't believe One on One is older than 25 years, but it is.  32 years old now.  Damn I'm getting old

I always liked Blue Chips, though I was younger last time I saw it.

Who knew Shaq could be in a good movie?

Hoop Dreams and Hoosiers.    I don't look at Hoop Dreams as about basketball first, but I understand the argument.
Fearless and cheerful because it is so much fun.
