Only if puts on 25lbs of course, oh and adds a lot of skill

you could really get overwhelmed by the optimism here if you weren't careful.

MUSF

Anybody want to change their answer to the question about the program in 3 years?

This sucks.  Hopefully, things will work out for the best.

When a kid quits a team mid-year of his freshman year, something big was happening behind the scenes.  I am sure this did not just bubble up in 2 days.  "Something is rotten in the state of Denmark. . ."

At least I have the Brewers and Bucks to give me hope.

Don't write off the brewers just yet. Maybe they're young pitching will have matured enough to take the 1 and 3 spots in the rotation and pitch like those positions are supposed to pitch. At least Wolf isn't a 4th starter... (fingers crossed)

Hope you're right, my friend. I could use a sports pick-me-up.

Yea, and the Mariners will win the Series this year...

Let's see:
Reeeeally hard practices
No starts in 10 games
Limited minutes so far
Limited impact so far
Away from home first time
Not the star any more
Dorm food

Don't most freshmen consider leaving at some point? I'ver heard it said many times.  Guess some actually do take the leap.  I hope it ends up a good move for him in the long-run.

As for the season, toss out the ball and let's play!

With the likely addition of Cliff Lee, anything is possible. Just pitch him every game. :D

"Something is rotten in the state of Denmark. . ."

Nice Hamlet quote, but this definitely does point to something more serious than a decision made in a couple days. That said, I don't think it's any of our places on this board to be saying things like he's a head case, his dad has been in his ear the whole time, or his grades are not where they need to be. As far as we know, maybe he just wasn't enjoying himself here and feels it's best for him to go somewhere else. Hopefully that's the case, but either way let's try to stay classy about it. Some of the posters on here are starting to sound like badger fans when Vander and Wesley chose MU over UW, just relying on pure speculation and assuming the worst about a teenager.
