Is it just me, or does it seem like we have no passion or enthusiasm out there? It has been pretty noticeable this game and the NC State game. I don't know whether their legs are that tired or they just aren't into the game like they seemed to be for the first couple games. What do you all think?

Everyone outside of Butler, Hayward, DJO, Acker, and cubes plays scared.  Don't think its passion rather then wanting to PLAY.  Once Buzz establishes a rotation I think you'll see the other guys play loose.

Fulce, Williams, Mbao are scrambling out there often out of position.  But playing out there will help them - glad they all got in.

1 offensive rebound for MU - wow - that is a pathetic stat

The "rotation" you see now .. is the rotation that'll be there, plus or minus a bit, for the next 20 games.

That's just what many folks said about Butler for most of last year. It wasn't until late in the season that he didn't look scared and hesitant. And that's when he flourished.

I also recall the same thoughts about Hayward as a freshman--he came in as a solid outside shooter, but would never take the open jumper. He's come around, hasn't he? (Well except for his inconsistent play of this year, his feeling the pressure of being THE man.)

Lastly, I don't quite see Buzz establishing a rotation this year. Just too many guys who are likely to be inconsistent. I'll count on Buzz to be more on top of how guys are playing than we will be.

Zar and Butler have the killer instinct.

DJO's slowly getting it.
Buycks has some of it, but has trouble executing.
Acker has some...Cubes a little too (mostly defensively)

The rest are intimidated and are struggling to assert themselves.
Once they find out what roles they need to play, I think they'll show their gelling as a team.
