Ah, good old Mike Hunt. Whatever happened to Mike Hunt?

He's still writing....tomorrow's story is mostly about the death of George Koonce's wife (RIP).  Terrible loss for Mr. Koonce but excuse me for being skeptical on Hunt using it as a way for him (Hunt) to duck for cover on poor attendance, poor game tonight, etc that he kept pushing in his columns the last few years....he even had the courage (for once) to say this mean's nothing for MU but it's good for the city, even if UWM is terrible and has never won a game.  Somehow it will help get us ready for the Big East (of course traveling to UWM in future years and not playing a quality road game is going to get us ready for the Big East...how....exactly?)  Good grief.  But the writing is on the wall, we're going to continue the series and give them now even MORE weighting because they....deserve it.....apparently.  I just hope MSOE becomes a regular season fixture along with Viterbo, Osh Kosh, Eau Claire and LaCrosse.  We might as well try to really really get every part of Wisconsin on our side because certainly these games will do this.
