To keep the NC State news all in one thread, here's a couple pre-game articles out of North Carolina on the matchup

Scout says that NC wants to run the floor the whole game and try to get their scores to consistently be in the 70s.

The Burlington TimesNews (halfway between Raleigh-Duram-Chapel Hill and Greensboro) couldn't seem to give an analysis of the MU v NC State game beyond their recent loss to Nortwestern.  Either it was a stinging loss, or it was a lazy journalist that was too hungover to do an actual analysis.

i appreciate the effort. however it seems that a certain level of decency has to be maintained when giving the "dirt" on other players that it comes across as, well, lame. i appreciate the blurbs about marquette, and then promptly shredding it to use for confetti for the first bucket

Agreed.  The Goldmine seems to be solidly on the side of the University with regards to being PC.  I'm not trying to get anything horrible chanted at opposing players, but it would be nice to see some insults more in the realm of cable tv as opposed to daytime network television.  Is the goldmine hooked into officials at the university at this point?

"The Goldmine" is so poorly written and edited it is almost unreadable. From the first word "Tonight" it is wrong. It's the fourth meeting, but the series is tied 2-2?
