Lazar Hayward scored 20 points and Darius Johnson-Odom added a career-high 18 to lead the Marquette Golden Eagles over South Dakota, 93-68, on Tuesday night at the Bradley Center.

Jimmy Butler added 13 points and Maurice Acker 11 for MU (0-4), which knocked down 60.0% of its three-pointers (12 for 20) and shot an even 50.0% for the game (34 for 68).

South Dakota (2-3), which also shot 50.0% (22 for 44) was led by Tyler Cain's 19 points.
