MU NY

Respect the opponent or be doomed!  Ask some of the "underdogs" how much credit they gave the polls after this weekend.  Rutgers is coming into Milwaukee after taking UCONN into OT at Storrs and the only column they are paying attention to involve the results of these games...

#3 UNC loss to unranked NC State
#6 Kansas loss to #8 Tex A&M at Kansas
#9 ranked Oregon loss to unranked USC
#10 Duke to unranked Fl. State at Cameron Indoor
#14 OK State loss to well-under .500 Colorado
#18 Va. Tech loss to unranked Boston College
#19 Notre Dame loss to unranked So. Fla a few days after MU hits the buzzer beater!
#21 Clemson loss to unranked Ga. Tech
#23 Texas loss to unranked "Huggy Bear" coached Kansas St. at Texas
#25 Indiana loss to unranked Iowa
#25 (tie) UNLV loss to unranked BYU

Crean has the team focused I am sure but if are thinking about ranking instead of Rutgers, they may be in for a cold bucket of water with the Hoyas licking their chops.

and that's why the game is played and why tourney time is so exciting...never know when an "underdog" team can play well while one of the giants in the game wait unsuspectingly waiting for their next "real" matchup. gotta play every game as hard as you can or you're liable to lose, no matter who the opponent is.
