Watching the West Virginia-Colorado game on ESPN.  Devine has 7 carries for 120 yds and a TD.  The kid has incredible speed.  Also quite a story losing both parents to HIV and being raised an orphan.  The kid is amazing.

seems like he's been at west virginia forever, amazing athlete would be an understatement for him.

GGGG

Devine is too small.  More like the next Dave Meggett or Darren Sproles.

Noel Devine is 5' 8".  Barry Sanders played at 5' 8".  I think this kid will continue to shine at the next level, but just one man's opinion.

I'm guessing Barry Sanders had him by 20-30 pounds though. I think he should turn out to be a nice little RB, not Barry Sanders though. He is a great college RB...gonna get a lot tougher after next year (maybe this year) though.

Been meaning to post this for a while and was reminded the other night...If you are looking for the next Barry Sanders, you might start with that kid at Pittsburgh. Dude moves three directions at the same time, and doesn't slow down to do it. He seems to be a little bigger than Devine as well. Obviously still small by NFL standards which is why there will probably not ever be another Barry Sanders, but if I were picking one or the other, I'm going with Lewis.

Stats from Barry's Heisman season...

Unreal.

Devine is a solid back with a future playing on Sundays, but to say the "Next Barry Sanders" may be a stretch.
