Cameron Clark committed to Oklahoma today.

MuMark

Is this info more accurate then McDonald to Marquette?

MU06CU10

No doubt about it. Scout has confirmed and put a story up. Thanks for the info, cy.

bma725

Confirmed.

Would have been nice, but MU will just have to get someone else.

Would have been a nice addition.  OK, the big ones left are Blue, Joseph, Desriosers, Walker and Moore.  Close the deal Buzz, nice having these guys mention us, but commitments are the true verdict.

Disappointing.  You always want the most talent, but we definately need a point guard and a big man to balance the team out.  Bulter, Maymon, EWill, Johnson-Odom, and Buyucks can handle the wing spots.  Plus we have Jamail Jones in that class.

demonstartes why that first visit is sooo important and valuable.  i f you can really wow him they never even make the rest of the visists.

So where do we stand with our other recruits.  I know I read that Clark had us at the top of his list at one point.  I hope we can land at least one other solid top 100 type recruit with this class.  Two would be great.  Do we lead for any top 100 type recruits?

I don't know you follow recruiting, but I hope we can land at least one other solid top 50 type recruit with this class. Two would be great.

Top 100 is for chumps.

After having only 4 top 100 recruits consistently playing for the last for years, I don't know if I agree with that.  I do like your thinking though and hope Buzz takes the position that there is no reason he cannot land a big name.

Between this and the "Aaron Bowen wasn't that good anyway" theme in the other thread, I am wondering why people think that MU is all of the sudden in the position that prospects like this aren't good enough for us.

We have one of our best recruiting classes in recent memorty with two 40ish type prospects in Maymon and Cadougan, and another top 100 in Williams.  DJO and Buycks seem like great JC players, but neither was top 100 coming out of high school.  What makes us think that an Aaron Bowen, and for that matter a Jamail Jones (not top 50), isn't good enough?

Maymon is in the 80s, not 40s.

1.) I wasn't all that serious.

2.) We are in on a lot of Top 50 guys.

Much like we were in the past....let's see if we land some.  Hopefully we do
