Lemme guess the next two....

North Carolina Central
NJ Inst of Technology

That would round out the bottom 4 from last years Pomeroy ratings.

For some reason I thought we'd played against NJIT recently as a transitional-D1 team but I can't find any mention of it.

I think the bottom line is, this method of releasing the schedule whets people's appetite for MU hoops just a bit more. I'm not necessarily talking about us Scoop folks who talk it all year long. For the still serious but causl fan, they may forget about it from April to October. This way, rather than one day then done until Madness, MU hoops is on the brain again for a couple of weeks.

I'm not gonna lie, while I think the opponents are weak (but understand the buy game mentality), this is totally getting me psyched up, as it's a sign that hoops time is drawing near.

Looks like today's announcement was the Old Spice Classic (http://www.gomarquette.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/071309aab.html).  It mentions that Marquette already knows what their draw is in the tournament, but the bracket won't be officially announced until "the coming weeks" - it seems odd that isn't released for general consumption once it's decided.

I was also tempted to vote for DePaul in the "What team are you most excited to see at the Bradley Center this year?" poll along the side.

Centenary announced this game in May. There was a story in the Shreveport Times. See my May 29 post.
